Fig Technology (Pty) Ltd is a Technology company that is women owned and managed. The Managing Director is Miss Ismay Gamage, a dynamic entrepreneur, who has 25 years experience in the IT industry. Ms Gamage is a well-known personality in the local IT industry and has worked for top IT companies such as Punch Line/Altech, NCR and Toshiba. The other director and shareholder is Mrs Faith Ncube who handles the company's financial portfolio. Fig Technology is also a value added reseller for most of the major brands available in the country, i.e. Cisco, Lenovo, IBM, 3Com, Toshiba and many more. Fig Technology's growth over the years has enabled them to provide total solutions to their clients which include networking, infrastructure rollouts, project management, ad-hoc service and SLA's. Also included in their range is an ability to assess networks, disaster recovery, storage, risk management and SAM (Software Asset Management) as well as offer best business practices solutions in line with ITIL2 and Sarbanes-Oxley. EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS IN SOUTH AFRICA Fig Technology has been appointed the exclusive distributor of the GroupLink Suite of products for South Africa. These products include a helpdesk product and a customer relationship management system. The CRM system is specifically designed for the Novell backbone and is called ContactWise. The helpdesk is called GroupLink HelpDesk and is designed to operate on Linux, Unix, Novell and the Microsoft platform. Fig Technology subscribes to the employment policies of the Government.
